Terms & Conditions — Matchbox $1,000 Cookware Upgrade Competition

1. Eligibility:

The competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older who are current Matchbox Rewards members at the time of entry. Employees of Matchbox Franchising Pty Ltd and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

2. How to Enter
To enter, reply to the Matchbox competition email during the competition period and answer the question: "What's the one piece of cookware you'd never give up, and why?"

Only one entry per person is permitted. Entries received outside the competition period will not be accepted. Entries must be submitted in English.

3. Prize
One (1) winner will receive a $1,000 Matchbox shopping spree, redeemable in-store or online at matchbox.com.au. The prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. The prize must be redeemed within 6 months of the winner being notified. Any unused balance after redemption is forfeited.

4. Judging
This is a game of skill. Entries will be judged by a panel of Matchbox representatives based on the most creative and compelling response. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The competition will be judged on or before 9 September 2026.

5. Winner Notification
The winner will be notified by email within 5 business days of judging. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible entrant.

6. Privacy
Personal information collected through this competition will be used solely for the purpose of conducting the competition and notifying the winner. Matchbox handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at matchbox.com.au. By entering, participants consent to receiving Matchbox marketing emails; participants may unsubscribe at any time.

7. General
The promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and may disqualify any entrant who provides false or misleading information.
The promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition in the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control.
This promotion is a game of skill and is not subject to lottery or trade promotion permits.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
