Care & Use:

• Before cooking, apply vegetable oil to the cooking surface of your pan and pre-heat slowly. Once the utensil is properly pre-heated, you are ready to cook
• A low to medium temperature setting is sufficient for the majority of cooking applications
• Coat your cast iron cookware with vegetable oil for frying or searing. It allows the excellent heat conduction properties of cast iron to be retained and to also protect the cookware from rust.
• High heat: Always use oven mitts or pot holders to lift your cookware.
• Never put a hot cast iron pan into cold water, as thermal shock can cause cast iron pans to warp or crack.
• Do not wash this piece of cookware in the dishwasher.Washing in the dishwasher will strip the seasoning and cause the pan to rust.
• After cooking, clean your pan with a nylon brush or sponge and hot water.
• Towel dry immediately with a lint-free cloth or paper towel. Apply a light coating of oil to the pan while still warm.
• Store in a cool, dry place.
