Ingredients

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1/3 cup of frozen raspberries

Healthy soft serve ice cream made only from fruit? Sign me up. It might be hard to believe that banana and raspberries can turn into a delicious, sweet and creamy soft serve. Don't take our word for it, try it for yourself!

Method

  1. For best results, we reccomend our Table Top Frozen Fruit and Ice Cream Maker by Avanti. However you can also use a food processor, and will still get delicious results!

  2. Process frozen fruit through the Frozen Fruit and Ice Cream Make, or blitz in your food processor until smooth. If using a food processor, you may need to add some liquid to help it blend together (we like using almond milk).

  3. Serve immediately. Yum!

  4. Tip: Get creative! Use banana as a creamy base and experiment with any other frozen fruit that you have in your freezer.

FAQs

How long should I freeze the bananas for?

When freezing bananas whole they can take upwards of 3 hours to freeze all the way through. To speed up the freezing process, thinly slice your bananas and lay them out flat. They should freeze pretty quickly this way!
