Every brand requires the right set of ingredients to rise like the perfect soufflé! That's why at Matchbox, all of our franchisees undergo a thorough recruitment process:
Step 1
Once you have made contact and undergone a phone interview with our franchise consultant, we will send you an information pack and application form.
Step 2
Return your completed application with a refundable $3,000 deposit. We will then arrange an in-house interview and provide you with our financial model including setup costs, plus a draft disclosure document and our franchise agreement, so you can begin your due diligence.
Step 3
When you are happy to proceed, you will meet the Matchbox franchisors and tour around our stores, visiting existing franchisees.
Step 4
At this stage your deposit can be refunded if for some reason your application is unsuccessful or you do not wish to proceed with your application.
Step 5
Seek financial approval, mandatory legal advice and independent financial and business advice.
Step 6
If you have any further queries, you will meet with our franchise consultant again.
Step 7
Provide the franchise consultant with your company details, proof of funding and evidence of due diligence. We will prepare the final documentation which you'll need to sign and return with your franchise fee payment.
Step 8
You will receive up to 4 weeks training for you and your staff. You will be trained in-store and at head office in Matchbox systems, policies and procedures.
Step 9
