Fangirling over Marini Ferlazzo
You can't go past the subtle bursts of colour and the intricate illustrations of Nathan Ferlazzo's collection 'Marini Ferlazzo' if you're looking to update some of your everyday kitchenware essentials.
The man and artist behind Marini Ferlazzo, Nathan, has a background in graphic design and draws inspiration from his favourite books (one of them is The Jungle Book) and from the world around him.
Creating his illustrations using a traditional nib and Indian ink, he highlights the beauty of the world's wildlife while educating and inspiring viewers to take action to help protect threatened species, his artwork is extremely detailed, allowing his passion for conservation to shine through.
In fact, Nathan is so dedicated to helping out the world's furry friends that a share of the profits from Marini Ferlazzo is donated to a number of different wildlife charities around the world including Australian Wildlife Conservancy and World Animal Protection (you rock Nathan).
Lucky for you guys, Maxwell & Williams loved Nathan's artwork almost as much as we do and decided his artwork needed to be adapted to feature on items that are useful and can be used every day.
His newest collection features pieces that study an iconic animal and that are embellished with intricate foliage and flowers in his unmistakable style.
If you hate the way water tastes coming out of plastic bottles then you definitely need at least one (maybe more) of these reusable bottles! Made from durable and lightweight stainless steel, each bottle features a beautiful illustration of a much loved native bird (I mean c'mon, just look at that kookaburra) and has a leak-proof, twist-top lid so you don't have to worry about any accidental leaks or spills when you take it with you on-the-go.
Or how about a coffee mug? Your morning dose of caffeine is bound to taste better when you sip it from a mug that has a cute and colourful illustration of a cockatoo on it (we can almost guarantee it). Made from fine china, these mugs offer a generous capacity and come beautifully gift-boxed, ready to give as a present to the fellow bird-lover in your life!
