It all started with a chopping board.....

In 2003, twin brothers Antony and Richard Joseph decided to join forces to launch the now established homewares brand, Joseph Joseph, with the aim of creating functional, problem-solving, household products. 

Fascinated by design since they were children, the brothers grew up in a family manufacturing business which ignited their passion for engineering and invention, and pretty much ensuring that this company was going to be a smashing success. 

However, this company started relatively small, with only a few products in its collection, mainly made up of kitchen items. Even though they only had a small range, there was one product that was a cut above the rest; a simple glass cutting board. The functional, hygienic nature of this board encouraged the brothers to start thinking outside the box, and soon, their focus shifted to designing products with a core problem-solving approach. 

Expanding into other areas of the home was only a matter of time and the brothers soon realised that the majority of products available to buy weren't performing nearly as well as they could. This sparked their imaginations and led them on the path to transforming everyday household essentials from draining boards to bathroom caddy's.
